Monument – The Dejbjerg wagons

Monument at the place where famous wagons were found.

Under peat-digging in the 1880’s two Iron Age wagons were found. Today they are in the Danish National Museum, but the monument is situated where they were found. The text on the stone tells that the wagons were found approx. 50 fathoms north, north-east of the stone.
