Churches

All around Ringkøbing Fjord you meet many churches.Every church has its own history, which attaches it to the local area.Here are old medieval churches with antique cultural treasures, but also “young” churches built within the last 80 years.Some churches are much decorated, while others seem more Spartan in the rough nature at the west coast of Denmark.The churches and churchyards are definitely worth a visit if you wish to discover hidden history and culture of the region.Photos of the churches are taken by Knud Fussgaard, John Toft Kristensen and Pally Lykke Ravn.
